TAMPA – The University of Memphis was in a giving mood Wednesday night.
After finishing with only four assists in each of their past two games – losses to Tulsa and Cincinnati – the Tigers dished out 20 assists in an 86-74 American Athletic Conference victory over USF at the Sun Dome.
The win snapped a two-game Memphis losing streak and improved the team's record at USF to 11-2 overall. The Tigers (14-8, 5-4 American) own a 25-4 lead in the series.
Jeremiah Martin led the Tigers with 25 points and added nine assists.
