Tigers Post 24-14 Win At Tulane Friday

NEW ORLEANS, La. – University of Memphis freshman Darrell Henderson accounted for two touchdowns, and the Tigers defense held the Tulane rushing attack to under 175 yards to lift the visitors from the Bluff City to a 24-14 American Athletic Conference victory Friday.

The win improved the Tigers' record to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the league. The Green Wave fell to 3-3 overall and 0-2 in the conference. Memphis gets one extra day of preparation for next week, as it returns to playing on Saturday. The Tigers make their first trip in program history to Annapolis, Md.
