MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis Tigers women's volleyball program has been picked to finish first in the AAC East Division this season along with receiving six first place votes in the preseason coach's poll. The Tigers also placed a player on the American Athletic Conference's Preseason All-Conference Team in Bailey Houlihan.
"Its certainly an honor to be recognized by our peers. There are so many well deserving teams in this league that could have been selected." Head coach Sean Burdette shared. "We know the new look league will be very successful and competitive from the top to the bottom, and every team will have to prepare equally for each opponent.
