MEMPHIS – The Memphis men's tennis team picked up three wins on day one at the Bobby Bayliss Invitational at Notre Dame, Friday. Sophomore and junior each grabbed singles wins to move on in the 1-0 side of their respective flights, while Patzanovsky teamed with freshman for an 8-1 win in doubles.
The morning started with two rounds of doubles. Patzanovsky and Pallares faced the duo of Matt Gamble and Guillermo Cabrera of host Notre Dame, and made quick work of the match, 8-1. But that was the lone doubles win of the morning in four match-ups for the Tigers.
