Kiawah Island, S.C. – The University of Memphis men's golf team jumped three places to seventh overall at the East Bay Deli Classic in Kiawah Island, S.C. Monday afternoon. The Tigers shaved off 28 strokes from round one to finish with a team score of 291 in round two.
Rodi Vlasveld continued his strong play for Memphis, carding a three-under 69 in round two. His two-day total of 147 currently has him sitting in a tie for sixth individually and two strokes shy of the clubhouse leaders. Vlasveld finished with four birdies to just one bogey in his third-lowest round this fall.
