EUGENE, Ore. – University of Memphis' competed in the men's high jump in third-day action at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Championships Friday. He finished in a tie for 18 place in the event.
The University of Oregon's Hayward Field is hosting the four-day national meet that began Wednesday and concludes Saturday.
In his first NCAA Championships – indoor or outdoor – appearance, Wesner tied for 18 in the high jump with a mark of 6-10.25 (2.09m). His height of 6-10.25 was tied with 10 other high jumpers.
The Tigers freshman hit the 6-10.25 mark on his second jump attempt, and three other jumpers did the same and tied him for 18 place.
