Tigers Fall At Home To Kansas Sunday Afternoon

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's basketball team dropped to .500 on the season after a 68-58 setback to Kansas Sunday afternoon. Three players finished in double figures for the Tigers, as Memphis is now 2-2 this season.

Taylor Williams, with four made three-pointers, finished with a career-high 18 points while Cheyenne Creighton and Taylor Barnes scored 16 and 10 points, respectively.

Tied at 10-10 with 4:29 on the clock in the first, Memphis rattled off a 6-0 run capped by a lay-up from Creighton for the first momentum swing of the contest.
