MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Tigers (14-4-2) secured their spot in the second round of the NCAA Tournament this past Sunday when they shutout LSU 3-0. They will now head to North Carolina where they will face off against the Blue Devils of Duke University on Friday night.

Memphis, who got goals from Jocelyn Alonzo, Aubrey Mister and Bryana Buttar on Sunday's match, are currently on a five-game shutout streak that includes a 2-0 win against UCF, a 1-0 win over Houston and a 0-0 draw with South Florida in the American Athletic Conference Championship – which the Tigers would go on to win after defeating the Bulls 3-0 in penalty kicks.
