DALLAS – The University of Memphis men's basketball team earned its 11th win in the team's last 13 games on Thursday night, beating SMU in Dallas, 81-62.
With the victory, the Tigers improve to 23-7 on the season overall and to 13-4 in American Athletic Conference (AAC) play. The Mustangs fall to 10-20 on the year and to 5-12 in league play.
Memphis will conclude the regular season Sunday morning at FedExForum against No. 1 Houston. It will be the first time the Tigers has ever hosted the No. 1 team in the country inside FedExForum.
