ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Facing their third top-25 opponent this season, the Memphis men's tennis team fell short at No. 13 Michigan Sunday afternoon.
The Tigers (5-3) dropped a hard-fought doubles match before Michigan took the first three singles matches to set the 4-0 final.
The Wolverines (6-2) won the top two courts to take the doubles point. In singles play, Michigan turned in three straight-set wins.
The Wolverines' #42 Runhao Hua downed Andrew Watson 6-2, 6-4, while Kristofer Siimar won on court 6 against Jan Pallares by a score of 6-3, 6-2.
