Tigers Drop Overtime Contest To Tulane, 62-61

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis women's basketball dropped a heart-breaker to Tulane on Wednesday night, falling 62-61 in overtime. The Tigers fall to 8-12 overall and 3-4 in American Athletic Conference play.

After coming back from a 15-point deficit, the Tigers were unable to finish off the comeback, led by Alana Davis' 14 points and 12 rebounds off of the bench.

The evening began with a pair of runs in the first quarter. Memphis jumped out to a 4-0 lead on a pair of layups before surrendering back-to-back scores from Tulane, who took a 5-4 lead into the media timeout.
