MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis softball team suffered a pair of setbacks on a rainy Saturday afternoon to Indiana and Lipscomb at the Tigers Softball Complex. Indiana defeated the Tigers by a 9-1 margin in five innings and Lipscomb won by a score of 6-2.
Indiana's win over Memphis snapped a seven-game winning streak and overall, the Tigers fall to 11-9 on the year with one game remaining at the UofM Softball Tournament.
The teams were scoreless for the first two innings before Indiana scored three in the third on three hits, including a two-run home run.
