DENTON, Texas – Memphis women's tennis added another win to their schedule with a 4-3 triumph over the host-school North Texas.
Lina Hohnhold clinched the match by winning the third-set tiebreaker of her singles match.
The Tigers had to climb out of a hole after dropping the doubles point to the Mean Green.
Singles proved to be back-and-forth affair, with teams splitting courts throughout. Laura Bente, Aran Teixido Garcia and Katherine Cao took straight-set wins to get the Tigers within a point of clinching the match.
