JONESBORO, Ark. – Memphis women's soccer notched its fifth consecutive victory and seventh shutout of the season after a 3-0 win at Arkansas State on Thursday evening.

The Tigers (7-1-0) found a pair of goals early to build momentum then scored late to seal their seventh win of the year. Defensively, Memphis limited Arkansas State to four shots as goalkeeper Elizabeth Moberg tallied her 11th career shutout.

"I'm proud of the girls. Anytime you score three and give up zero, you have to be happy. Arkansas State has been having a good year, and to get that win on the road – I'm pleased," head coach Brooks Monaghan said.
