MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis' men's soccer team avoids giving up a goal in the final minute, and leaves Omaha with a win, defeating the Wolverines of Utah Valley on Sunday by a 1-0 score.
Shots came very early in the match, as Memphis' leading goal-scorer Peyton McKnatt fired away on a couple of early looks, but found nothing.
Utah Valley swung the momentum in its favor for a good chunk of the first half, maintaining possession and taking multiple shots. The Tiger defense, however, kept the ball out of the net, keeping the game scoreless.
