MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Junior college transfer Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu posted a nine-point, 13-rebound stat line, while Memphis native Lanetta Williams added 10 points as the Tigers defeated Christian Brothers by a score of 71-61 Wednesday evening.
All 11 players that checked in scored for the Tigers, with five players scoring at least seven points. Senior guard Gazmyne Herndon turned in a complete performance, scoring a team-high 11 points, pulling down 5 rebounds and leading the team with 5 assists.
Memphis came out aggressive and determined against the Lady Bucs, forcing eight first quarter turnovers while scoring 20 points.
