LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Tigers picked up their third consecutive win this afternoon when they handed Loyola Marymount the 73-65 loss in the opening game of the LMU Thanksgiving Classic.
Following today's win, Memphis moves to 5-1 overall.
Memphis found themselves in a hole early after the Lions came out with a 6-2 lead through the first two minutes of the game. The Tigers would take their first lead of the game midway through the first quarter when Maya Stovall found her way through the LMU defense for an easy layup.
