MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Athletics celebrated the accomplishments of its student-athletes during the eighth annual PAWSCARS awards ceremony Monday night at Rose Theatre on campus.
Gracie Morton from the softball team earned the prestigious Elma Roane Award. The award was created in 1978 and named after the former women's athletic director at the University of Memphis. It is presented annually to the female student-athlete who possesses drive, enthusiasm and determination while maintaining a concern for others.
