TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Memphis women's tennis capped its fall slate at the Roberta Alison Classic, hosted by the University of Alabama.
With six student-athletes playing three singles matches and three doubles contests on Friday and Satruday, the Tigers notched eight singles wins coupled with a trio of victories in doubles play.
Junior tallied her first victory of the weekend on Friday with a 6-2, 6-3 win against Western Michigan's Kristina Tirasplolsky. The Lenexa, Kan., native finished the tournament with two singles victories and an appearance in her flight finals.
Sophomore also made a trip to her flight finals in singles after straight-set wins against Cameron Kriscunas of Ole Miss and Tulane's Laura Fabrizi on Friday.
