NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Coming off of the heels of a series win at Cincinnati, Memphis shutout Belmont 6-0 Monday at E.S. Rose Park. The Tigers (19-9), playing in their fourth game in four days, didn't show any signs of fatigue in hammering the Bruins as they outhit them 12-6.
Memphis starter Jonathan Bowlan carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning and allowed just one hit through six scoreless innings. He struck out six batters and improved to 3-3 win the win.
Freshman Danny Denz pitched the final three innings to record his first career save.
