MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Artur De Luca converted a penalty kick just over a minute after Temple tied the game at 1, and the Memphis Tigers earned crucial points with a 2-1 win over the Owls Wednesday night in Memphis, Tenn.
Memphis is now 5-8-1 overall and 4-4-0 in American Athletic Conference action. Temple drops to 2-10-2 on the year and 0-8-0 in AAC play. The Tigers remain in playoff position in fourth place in the AAC standings with two games left in the regular season.
