MEMPHIS, Tenn.– The Tigers are back in Bluff City this weekend when they host the Cougars of the University of Houston (9-9, 2-4 AAC) this Saturday afternoon. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. in Elma Roane Fieldhouse.
Memphis (10-5, 1-3 AAC) is coming off an 81-74 loss to Tulane that, despite the loss, saw the Tigers shoot lights-out.
After 20 minutes of play, the Tigers shot 72% from three-point range and 50% from the field. Memphis would finish the game going 12-18 from deep, marking the first time since March 2020 that they recorded 10 or more made three-pointers in a game.
