MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis athletic department has awarded women's basketball head coach with a two-year contract extension, the third extension of her Memphis tenure, which will go through the 2018-19 season.
"I am excited to announce that we have reached an agreement to extend Coach 's contract through the 2018-19 season," said Memphis Athletics Director . "Over the past nine seasons, Coach McFerrin has continued to elevate the women's basketball program at the University of Memphis; her players have exceled not only in the classroom, but on the court as well. Coach McFerrin has reached postseason play five times including an appearance in the 2016 WNIT.
