MEMPHIS, Tenn. – New Memphis men's basketball head coach has announced the addition of Christian Kessee for the 2016-17 season.
Kessee, who played the last season at Coppin State and led the team in scoring, averaging 14.6 points per game, while making 88 three-pointers and making 39.5 percent of his three-point field goalx. He hit 64-of-80 free throws (80 percent), and 150-of-385 overall from the field (39 percent) last season.
He reached double-figure scoring 25 times during the year, including reaching 20 or more points six times. He set a career-high with 27 points on two occasions, against South Carolina State on February 6 and on February 13 against Howard.
