MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A trio of women's soccer seniors were named to the American Athletic Conference Preseason All-Conference Team, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Voted by the league coaches, , and were listed to the Preseason All-Conference Team. Gauthier was also voted the league's Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.
"They've had fantastic careers to this point, and they deserve any accolade they get," head coach said. "I always say, nobody could get these individual accolades without the support of their teammates. When these kids get recognized, it's credit to the whole team. But these kids bring it 100-percent on and off the field every day and they deserve what they have gotten.
