EUGENE, Ore. – Memphis senior and junior have each been named to the 30-person PING Southeast Region Team, announced on Sunday (May 29) afternoon.
The duo joins Jonathan Fly from 2012 as the program's only three All-Region honorees in Memphis men's golf history.
Perrot and van Meijel ended the 2015-16 season with nearly identical scoring averages, and both at the top of the program single-season record book, each averaging 71.8 strokes per round. van Meijel edged out his teammate for the scoring average record by averaging 71.759 strokes per round, while Perrot averaged 71.827, with van Meijel finishing with just two total fewer strokes on the season over an identical number of rounds.
