MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's golf team opens the spring season Monday and Tuesday at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate at Hilton Head Island, S.C.
The Tigers will be part of a 15-team field that includes Georgia and TCU.
"It's a new event for us and a good place to get started," said Tiger coach Blake Smart.
Newcomers Brad Bawden and Jordan Even, who joined the program in the fall, will participate, as will Borja Martin, Rodi Vlasveld and Chase Harris.
Bawden, from Hockley, England, played in all five fall events and posted three top 20 finishes.
