MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis football team opened camp with split squad practices at the Billy J. Murphy Complex on the Park Avenue Campus. The veterans opened the day with a morning practice, with the newcomers looking on. The first full day of practice closed out with a newcomer practice.

Memphis will repeat the split practice on day two, Friday.
On Saturday, the team will be reunited in a practice that will be open to all 901 Club Members (season ticket holders).
