MACON, Ga. – The University of Memphis women's golf team placed fifth at the Brickyard Collegiate on Tuesday with a team score of 920 (+56). Mercer won the eight-team tournament at the Brickyard Golf Club with a total of 885 (+21).
"I'm proud of the last two rounds the team played because it's very difficult to come back from our first round," head coach Jennifer Jordan remarked. "We had four players in the top 20, Tilly in the top 10. Our goal was to be in the Top 3 in this event and we just fell short of that.
