Streaking Tulsa is next challenge for Tigers

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After opening conference play with two road games for the first time in 11 seasons, the University of Memphis returns home to FedExForum at 3 p.m. Saturday for an American Athletic Conference game against Tulsa.

The Tigers (9-6, 0-2 AAC) will attempt to snap their three-game losing streak, which began Dec. 28 with a 10-point loss at home to LSU. Memphis opened AAC play with losses at Cincinnati and UCF.

Tulsa, like Cincinnati and UCF, presents a challenge. The Golden Hurricane (10-5, 3-0) is coming off a 90-88 double-overtime victory at home against UConn, a game in which Tulsa connected on a league-record 17 3-pointers.
