MIAMI, Fla. – The University of Memphis softball team picked up the split Saturday afternoon with a comeback victory over Georgetown and a setback to FIU at the Felsberg Invitational.
The Tigers scored four runs in the top of the seventh inning against the Hoyas to win by a score of 9-7 before falling to FIU by a score of 12-4 in six innings. Memphis is 3-1 overall with one game remaining this weekend.
Lindsay Crowdus put on an offensive show at the plate, going a perfect 6-for-6 including two triples in the win over Georgetown.
