MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Following Memphis' opening-weekend series win over Samford, senior outfielder Brayland Skinner was named to the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Weekly Honor Roll. Skinner is the first Tiger to be honored this season.
Making his Memphis debut, the former national champion and Mississippi State transfer had a monster opening weekend. He clubbed an AAC-leading four doubles to go along with a homerun, a .417 batting average (5-for-12) and an OPS of 1.500. Skinner also tallied five RBI, four runs scored and a pair of stolen bases.
