PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The University of Memphis football team brought home some hardware with the American Athletic Conference's announcement of its postseason awards and all-league teams Wednesday. Six Tigers received conference accolades.
Redshirt freshman was named the conference's Special Teams Player of the Year and also garnered all-league first team honors. Other first team selections were , , and . was a second team pick.
The five All-American Athletic Conference first team selections were one behind the six first teamers in 2014. Also, since joining The American, the overall six postseason honorees are second behind the 10 chosen in 2014.
