MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Tiger women's basketball team picked up a much-needed win on the road this past weekend where 5th year senior Jamirah Shutes led the team in scoring. Her performance would lead her to her third American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll award.
Shutes, a guard out of Brownsville, Tenn., put up a game-high 21 points in the Tigers 70-60 win over Wichita State. This was her fourth 20+ point performance of the season and the 18th time she has led the team in scoring.
