MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Following a record-breaking season and a No. 2 seed in the American Athletic Conference Championship, the Memphis Tiger women's basketball team has placed Jamirah Shutes, Madison Griggs and Destiny Thomas on the AAC Postseason Awards list.
Shutes, a 5-9 fifth year from Brownsville, Tenn., was named to the All-AAC Second Team after averaging 14.1 points per game and ranking in the top-10 in scoring average for the league. She poured in just over 200 points during the team's 15-game conference slate and ranks second in the AAC with 114 made free throws.
