MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After being named to the All-Region team just a day ago, David Zalzman was named to United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Second-Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Zalzman's honor is the first academic All-American recognition for a Tiger since Mark Sherrod was named to the First-Team in 2013.
The senior has earned a 3.82 GPA as an information systems and supply chain management major. During his time at Memphis, he has been a part of the Tiger 3.0 Club and has earned his way on the Dean's List five times.
