STORRS, Conn. – After giving up a first half goal, the Memphis men's soccer team rallied in the second half to score two goals and defeat UConn by a score of 2-1 Saturday evening. The victory improves the Tigers record to 4-7-4 on the year and 2-2-2 in American Athletic Conference play.
"It was an exciting match," said head coach . "It was a really well played match by UConn. It could have gone either way. There were numerous opportunities on both ends. I thought we showed great resiliency after going down 1-0. To see this match out and come away with a 2-1 victory speaks volumes of the character of this team.
