Second Half Rally Comes up Short Against Nationally Ranked Bearcats

Box Score CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Memphis Tigers cut a Cincinnati 24-point first-half lead to as few as six, but could not overcome the full deficit on the road against the 15th ranked Bearcats, falling 87-74 on Thursday evening.

Jeremiah Martin scored a game-high 23 points while dishing out a career-best 11 assists. The sophomore Memphis native hit 8-of-12 shots from the field and 6-of-7 from the charity stripe for the near-career-high scoring effort.

Dedric Lawson picked up his 18th double-double of the season with 21 points and 10 rebounds, and the 35th double-double of his career.
