MEMPHIS – Junior was named the American Athletic Conference men's tennis player of the week after a 4-0 weekend. Peniston picked up a pair of wins at one singles in a pair of 4-3 road wins that helped Memphis climb to number 35 in the ITA college rankings. Peniston also grabbed a pair of wins at number two doubles with teammate .
This is the second honor of the season from the American for Peniston. The junior was also named the Player of the Month back in October after winning the ITA Ohio Valley Regional singles championship.
