MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Tiger women's tennis team was represented in Cancun, Mexico for the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Women's 15K Tournament August 22-28.
Camila Romero, a fifth-year senior out of England, and Alisha Reayer, a fifth-year senior out of Ecuador, were in the duos tournament where they won the opening round of 16 by a score of 6-2, 6-1 against United States duo Gianni Gatti and Versace Gatti. The round of 8 put them against another set from the US; Romero and Reayer won 6-3, 6-4 to enter the third round
In the semi-final round, Romero and Reayer would lose the first set 6-2.
