PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Memphis senior and junior have been named to the American Athletic Conference Team, the Tigers' second and third American Conference award winners in program history.
The pair have been the bedrock of the lineup for the Tigers this season, helping lead the program to the NCAA Regionals in Kohler, Wisconsin on Monday-Wednesday.
van Meijel leads the team with a 71.5 stroke per round average, and has seven top-20 finishes on the year, including a 14th place finish at the 2016 American Athletic Conference Tournament.
Perrot is a fraction of a point behind van Meijel in scoring average at 71.
