NATCHITOCHES, La. – The University of Memphis softball team dropped the first game of the Lady Demon Classic Thursday evening to Northwestern State by a score of 4-2 in Natchitoches, La. Memphis had the early lead before the host squad rallied in the later inning. Memphis falls to 3-2 on the year.
Memphis jumped out early against the Lady Demons with two runs in the second inning. The first of two runs for Memphis came when the double steal of Erin Parker and Regan Hadley from first and third was completed successfully.
