MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Tigers redshirt-junior guard Landers Nolley II has earned a place on the watch list for the 2022 Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award, announced Tuesday by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
Last week, Nolley II was voted to the 2021-22 Preseason All-American Athletic Conference First Team. He was on the Watch List for the 2021 John R. Wooden Award, given to the national player of the year, a season ago.
Nolley II led Memphis in scoring last season at 13.1 points per game and was named to the All-AAC First Team after the campaign, which included being voted the Most Outstanding Player of the 2021 National Invitation Tournament.
