MEMPHIS, Tenn. – In its first midweek game of the season, the University of Memphis softball team fell to No. 7 Texas A&M by a score of 15-1 Tuesday evening. Junior shortstop Kyler Trosclair led the Tigers with two hits in the setback as Memphis falls to 11-11 on the year.
Texas A&M struck first and scored four runs early in the first inning. The Tigers got one run back in the bottom of the first, but that would prove to be the only run that Memphis would score in the game.
The Aggies used 15 hits throughout the contest to score 11 more runs while capitalizing on a pair of Tiger errors.
