MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A total of 92 Memphis Tiger student-athletes representing 16 teams will graduate this weekend during spring commencement ceremonies at the University of Memphis, with 42 graduating with honors.
Eighty-one of the 92 finish their coursework this spring and 11 more this summer. Degrees to be conferred include engineering technology, civil engineering, biomedical engineering, physics, psychology, criminal justice, international business and many others.
"Congratulations to this amazing group of student-athletes," Memphis Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Laird Veatch said. "The 81 spring graduates is one of our largest classes in our history, and to have so many earn academic honors while excelling athletically is a true testament to their hard work, dedication and support systems.
