MEMPHIS, Tenn. – In helping Memphis to a pair of wins at plate and on the mound, outfielder and left-handed pitcher Colton Neel was named to The American's Weekly Honor Roll, the league office announced Monday.
At the plate, Neel hit .308 through four games on the week, adding a pair of doubles and plating two runs. He also tallied three RBI, one of which provided the game-winning run against Middle Tennessee in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader.
With two aboard in a 5-5 game in the eighth inning, Neel sent a 2-RBI double to right field.
