MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Head Memphis women's basketball coach Alex Simmons continues to build her program here as she announces the hiring of Nadiria Evans as the program's Director of Operations.
Evans, a native of Gainsville, Fla., comes to Memphis after spending last season as the Director of Basketball Operations at Gardner-Webb University with Simmons. While with the Runnin' Bulldogs during their historic season, Evans oversaw team travel, meals, game scheduling, coordinating gear and many other aspects within the program.
"I knew Nadiria was a champion when she led the UNC Asheville program as a student-athlete and I'm very proud to have her on our staff now," said Simmons.
