Micah Simmons Named to NFF Hampshire Honor Society

MEMPHIS – Former Memphis offensive lineman was named to the National Football Foundation's (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society, Wednesday. The Honor Society is made up of college football players from all divisions of play who have maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college career. In total, there were 868 players from 275 schools in this year's Honor Society class, a record number of honorees in the program's 10 season.

Simmons, who graduated magna cum laude in May of 2015 with a degree in Health & Human Performance, played in 46 career games for Memphis, including all 13 games last season, with 35 career starts.
