PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The University of Memphis track and field program made it a sweep of the American Athletic Conference Male Athlete of the Week honors, the league office announced Tuesday. Senior Davon DeMoss received the conference's Male Track Athlete of the Week award, and senior Jordan Wesner earned the Male Field Athlete of the Week accolade.
It is the third career weekly honor for both DeMoss and Wesner. The accolade was DeMoss' second indoor honor of his career. He also received recognition once in the outdoor season. For Wesner, this week's indoor distinction was the first of his career.
