MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis men's tennis advanced three in and singles and two doubles teams to open the ITA Regional Championships in Knoxville, Tenn., hosted by the University of Tennessee.
The Tigers began the day in doubles action, where freshman and junior tallied an 8-5 win, while junior and freshman etched an 8-6 victory to advance to the Round of 64.
In doubles, Pallares notched his second win of the day, a straight-set victory against Marko Guzina of Ball State. Story also earned his second win after a 7-6, 6-4 win against Middle Tennessee's Tom Moonen.
